Digital MPI (DMPI)

Digital MPI enables the Service Advisor to clearly communicate items identified during the multi-point inspection (MPI) and recommend repairs to a customer. The customer can easily review the inspection results and select and approve recommended services from their mobile device or laptop. Each recommendation includes an associated explanation and price estimate along with the overall repair bill including the concerns and services the customer had previously approved when they were checked in at the dealership.

This Reference Guide shows the steps the customer needs to follow in order to review and approve the inspection results using Digital MPI. It is intended as a reference for dealership personnel only and is not for customer use.

 

Using Digital MPI

The Service Advisor initiates the process by sending a message to their customer from Service Dashboard asking for repair recommendation approval (A) or communicating that the inspection was all OK (B). The message can be sent by SMS (text) or email, based on customer preference.



From the text or email message, the customer taps the link to open the app:

Last name (or company name, if applicable) must be entered for verification. The language can also be changed.
